    Why Axiom, and how we grew

    We started as Axiom Automation with one goal: automating back-office tools in the cloud. A year later we build complete systems for businesses across Belgium. Here is how that happened.

    Where the name comes from

    An axiom is a starting point so self-evident that you can build everything on it. The word comes from Greek (axíōma): "that which is thought worthy".

    That matches how we work: lay a solid foundation first, then let it grow. On day one we were called Axiom Automation, because we built cloud automations for back-office tools.

    "Automation" soon proved too narrow. Clients asked for websites, webshops, POS systems and dashboards. We kept the name Axiom and let the work speak: we build, you grow.

    A year in milestones

    1. Late 2025

      Started as Axiom Automation

      Cloud automations linking back-office tools together, so business owners do less double work.

    2. December 2025

      First client projects

      The first projects and case studies go live. We notice clients want more than separate automations.

    3. Spring 2026

      From automations to complete systems

      March becomes our busiest month so far. We build a library of modules: from bookings and webshops to POS, CRM and inventory.

    4. Summer 2026

      A fixed way of working

      Four phases (Discovery, Demo, Build, Live), a free first month and unlimited feedback. A subscription instead of a one-off invoice.

    5. Autumn 2026

      Hardware and bigger contracts

      "Made by Axiom" hardware such as kiosks and casings, NFC business cards for the team, and Tier 4 contracts with on-site days.

    Where we are now

    A young team from Kortrijk with roots in DAE (Howest), VIVES and EPPO. Dozens of projects started, more than 75 modules we combine into custom systems, and clients who stay with us month after month.

    Where we are going

    • First, keep growing in Belgium, close to our clients: easy to reach, in Dutch, English and French.
    • More smart automation and AI inside the systems we already build, so businesses can do more with the same team.
    • Perhaps beyond Belgium later. But always on the same foundation: a solid start, and software that grows with your business.
